Reasons to Talk about Your Life with
Your Biography

  • You’re in the early stages of dementia and want to record your life before your memory fades

  • You’ve had a near-death experience and you feel inspired to share your life story with family and close friends

  • You’ve reached the grand age of 100+ years old

  • You want to have the opportunity to communicate from the grave – talking frankly about some aspects of your life that you aren’t comfortable talking about face-to-face with family members, so that your friends and family can listen to you talk once you’ve passed away.

  • Perhaps you’ve been diagnosed with a terminal illness and have limited time left

  • If you write a personal diary (hand-written or word-processed) or blog, by having an audio interview reflecting on your written content, it would bring an added dimension to your thoughts.

Sound Waves

Adult children, often say, “I wish that I’d asked Mum more about her life…….but she's gone now.”

When a person has passed away, the memories can be listened to again and again, and can comfort those left behind, both during and after grieving.

Perhaps you were very young when your granddad or nana passed away and you feel that you’re lacking a full appreciation of them. Listening to their voice may fill a void.
